I\’ve just started on my success story, having read \”The Automatic Millionaire\” this week. I am in credit card debt, and behind on my mortgage and car payments. Having retired June 1 of this year, on advice of a financial planner, I cashed in my 401(k) to pay off some other responsibilities. BUT, I am so encouraged now….on my own, I had started buying Series EE savings bonds and was so happy to see that David recommends this as an alternative to a 401(k). I will continue to pay myself first, and thanks to him, I now know how to start paying down my credit card debt and saving at the same time. I am going to fill in my DOLP tomorrow and get planning. I am living on Soc. Sec. and occasional income from my freelance publishing support services business, and I now have HOPE! Looking for a part-time job to help out. Good news to come, I guarantee it!!! Thank you.
