Here’s my Grandma Rose Bach, the woman who inspired me to teach and write Smart Women Finish Rich. We took this picture before the book came out, but unfortunately she had a stroke and passed away before its release in 1998.

Grandma Bach believed all women should be in control over their money. She started with nothing and at age 30 made a decision that would change the destiny of our family, that decision being she wanted to be financially secure.

She started by taking classes on investing, finding mentors, and saving every penny she could. She started when she was earning $10 a day. By the time she passed, she was a self-made millionaire and more importantly, she had shared her lessons with her family (my father, me and my sister) and we would spend our lives teaching others her lessons.

Today I am proud, excited and even nervous to announce that, for the 20th anniversary edition of Smart Women Finish Rich, we are bringing back the Smart Women Finish Rich seminars. This seminar that led to the book that was inspired by Grandma Bach has educated and inspired hundreds of thousands of women across North America.
